First of all, the pro shop staff was rude and unprofessional. They wouldn't honor the price that I had booked online, made me feel like it was my fault, and charged me an extra holiday green fee rate because it was Labor Day.

Secondly, the pace of play is horribly slow. There were 6 groups in a par 3 at one time. One on the green, one on the tee box, 4 groups behind. Luckily 2 groups of members left. With this "luck" it still took 5 and a half hours to complete the round!!!!

Thirdly, the course condition was not worth trying a second time.

Bottom line, a bad golf experience and a definite avoid recommendation.

Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I won't play again

This course has two tough finishing holes - a long par four 17th with water on the right. The second shot requires some nerve to attack the pin over the corner of the water. Finishes with a beautiful par 3 island green. It can make your day or blow up your score! It has some interesting holes that challenge your game and require some creativity. My playing partner scored his first Eagle ever on the Par five 4th with a long (40 foot) putt uphill that broke right just at the hole - PERFECT! - pretty exciting for both of us.

Would travel: 10-20 Miles
Bottom line: Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
